Busy Busy!

(This post may be a bit scattered and totally out of the blue here since my brain is a bit scattered at the moment)

Why is it that sometimes you feel like you can just never get ahead? I have a ‘to-do’ list ten miles long, but have pushed it to the side lately to do my most favorite thing in the world: spend time with my family. And ya know? I really dont care! O has been so much fun lately, she has been so happy and smiley and playful, that even when the dishes are piled up in the sink and the car is so dirty I could write a novel on the back window, oh well!

We are anxiously awaiting the phone call from my sister that my nephew is on his way, but nothing yet as far as progress. If nothing happens between now and Monday the 8th, she will be induced that night. We are planning on making the drive on Sunday morning so we can be there for all the fun (fun for us, not so much fun for her). I am so excited to spend this time with my sister and Jose (and of course proud Grandma and Grandpa and all our other family and friends). I feel so incredibly lucky to have a sister I am so close with, and now to have children that will be so close in age and be able to grow up together!

Hubby has been busy with his business, we are actually expanding in the next couple of months which is really exciting. The business has allowed him to stay at home with O when I am at work, so she has never been to a real babysitter besides family or the neighbors, which is such a blessing. If you dont know what I am talking about, check out the website www.snapbooth.com

I have finally taken the looooooong overdue jump to get into shape post-baby (um, HELLO people, she is almost a year old!) and have started working out and eating better. I actually have been doing the slim fast plan for the last 3 weeks and am down 13 pounds. I know its so cliche to be on a ‘diet’ but I find that I am so busy when I am home with her, and at work I am so busy sometimes I forget to eat and then wind up eating too much towards the end of the day. The shakes make it so super easy, I dont even have to think about it. I have 5 more to go to get to pre-pregnancy, and we wont talk about how many more after that;)I want to shed some pounds and tone up some, and do it before the summer heat hits Arizona. I have been taking O out for jogs a few times a week, which has been fun for us both:)

So thats our update, hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the nice weather these days!

And how can I end a post without a pic?
