My sweet little one year old,
I wont say these last 2 months have been easy, but you sure have helped put a smile on my face in the midst of my lifes biggest loss. A week after your first Birthday your grampy was hospitalized and went to our forever home 4 weeks later. I missed several weeks of your life by being in California with him but your daddy was very busy home alone with you and your big sister. How lucky are you that you spent all the time you did with your grampa before your Birthday, we celebrated so much that week between Birthdays and Easter. I have a very special photo that I will eventually edit and frame of the three of you the day he flew home, I know we will all cherish it forever.
At 14 months you are quite the little kid, let me tell ya!
You are:
-CRAZY
-Full of life
-Have endless energy
-Scream at the top of your lungs most of the day
-A daredevil and constantly jumping off couches and chairs. Our house is seriously bare and we have tables and toyboxes and stools and all sorts of things stacked up in the garage because you are determined to fracture at least one bone before your second birthday!
-Not eating anymore, unless its blueberries or watermelon
-Wearing 18 month clothes. You and your sister are so close in size now if it wasnt for her height you would share everything
-Size 5 shoes, size 5 diapers
-Getting into everything
-A drama queen. You have the most delayed reaction if something anyone does hurts you physcially or emotionally. We can count to 5 and usually on que you give the most horrifying cry with a pouty lip and everything
-Are learning how to antagonize your sister, you love stealing toys and pulling hair
-Despise your high chair and will yell and throw food until we get you out
-Are sleeping 12 hours/night in your crib. We have the crib lowered all the way and have no plans on allowing you to escape anytime soon ;)
-Love playing on your water slide and splashing in shallow water but are not fond of swimming in a real pool
-Win our hearts over every day with your sweet personality and spunk!
